The Afro-Genesis Project aims to change this by offering black women safer birthing alternatives in environments free from racial bias and injustice.

Recent studies reveal that when black newborns are cared for by black physicians, the mortality penalty they suffer, as compared with white infants, is halved. These effects manifest more strongly in complicated cases and hospitals delivering more black newborns. The Afro-Genesis Project seeks to eliminate these disparities by creating 100% black-staffed facilities in Africa, where mothers can have safer birthing experiences.

Syndication: An Innovative Funding Model

To revolutionize maternal healthcare for black mothers, the Afro-Genesis Project will utilize a syndication structure for financing. This funding model offers a 70/30 split, ensuring that investors and project stakeholders can collaborate to achieve our shared goals. Investors will invest capital, own 70% of the project, and receive passive payments quarterly. In contrast, the host BIPOC Investment Group will handle 100% of the operational day-to-day work and own 30% of the project.
