Description
Join Our Mission to Improve Maternal Health for Black Mothers
Project Afro-Genesis aims to build a one-of-a-kind luxury maternity hospital in Kenya, designed specifically to provide quality, culturally competent care to Black mothers. Your contribution will help us construct this unique facility and launch our mission to reduce maternal health disparities.
Black women face disproportionately high risks during pregnancy and childbirth. In the US, they are 3-4 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications compared to white women. In the UK, they are 5 times more likely.
Our hospital will help change these devastating statistics by offering tailored medical care, modern technology and amenities, and most importantly, compassionate support from Black medical staff who understand patients’ cultural needs.
We understand that not everyone can afford the minimum level of engagement to be an investor in the project but some may still want to help. If you’re part of that broader community of supporters that wants to help us complete this meaningful project then the crowdfund is for you.
Your donation will get us closer to building this life-saving hospital. As a token of our appreciation, all donors will receive an invitation to our soft opening gala! Location TBD
We are making history by creating the first maternity hospital focused on the needs of Black mothers and babies. Be part of our groundbreaking effort to save lives and empower families!
Every dollar gets us closer to our goal. Please contribute today and share this campaign with your networks. Together we can improve maternal health outcomes for generations to come.
